clamo te.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I have this suspicion that there is still some hope, but there is not and never was. Never never never. It's a long slow wind down.

I won the top prize in the raffle at Will Long Day. Much rock was had.

I searched this lunch for the elusive tongue sandwich, formerly a deli staple, but now consigned to relative obscurity outside of real delis.

Happy Will Long Day, everybody. It is a holiday you celebrate by rocking out like a rockstar. I will rock out like a rockstar unless the show has sold out by the time I get there. It's by the cathedral.

I should get little trinkets and cards for my coworkers. They're all still out, but it seems like something they do, so I should have something waiting for them when they get back.

This is your captain speaking. I successfully made the journey to the wedding. They slew the fatted calf and the peasants rejoiced. I successfully returned despite continuing adverse weather conditions. I could not have done it without my fine support staff.

Conditions deteriorating fast. I have to be at a wedding in 7.5 hours. It's a 2 hour drive away. Conditions deteriorating. A large stretch of road has just been downgraded to partially snow-covered. Direction of travel: toward the snowfall. Do I go now and hope to beat the crap, or delay, counting on the snowfall to stop and the roads to be cleared?

I've been watching Star Trek: Season 1 on Netflix: Watch Instantly. I did not realize the series only went three seasons. I just watched the episode where they convinced a mind-controlling computer that it was not really benefitting the people it was controlling, so it self-destructed.

The above is my most recent blood pressure. They got the machine working again.

I've got a headache. I watched The Godfather and most of Godfather: Part II last night. I fell asleep in the middle of it.

I went to the liquor store. They had some English and French perry, so I picked it up. It was a new arrival. I will let you know how it goes.

Not quite the same as being the last Tech accountant.

I have the theme song from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" radio show stuck in my head.

Print Story So what DO you do?!
So I was at a retirement party for our CEO and I ran into a couple people from the department, a VP and some up-and-coming girl, and they were all, so, how's stuff going in your area, and then they were like, wait, so what is it exactly that you do? And I was like, um, I actually haven't done anything at all productive in the last four months. Shit. I need to send out resumes TODAY. I just got an alert that $CONSULTING_COMPANY has an opening that's a good fit for me. On the one hand, it's consulting, on the other, it's a good fit.
